ABOUT

Tools for living together.

In Kyushu, where there are no cutlery-producing areas, blacksmiths called field blacksmiths make kitchen knives and other cooking utensils, as well as agricultural and fishing tools and forestry tools.
We are responsible for the production and repair of a wide variety of blades used in daily life.
It has supported the lives of local people.

Yoshida Hamono has been making blades since its beginnings as a field blacksmith.
With the skills, wisdom, and spirit honed by our artisans, we have continued to forge blades of the world's highest standard.
Knives are everyday items, and the more you use and care for them, the more they will fit your hand, become easier to use, and you will grow to love them.

We continue to create products that will be loved for a long time and that fit into the lives of our users, cherishing the Japanese spirit and culture of valuing things that is inherent in Japanese people.
This is our mission and pride as we carry on the spirit of wild blacksmithing.
